EP 10

Eric Marsh

... ...

About this episode

At 73 years old, Eric Marsh sailed around the world in a 5.8-meter plywood boat.

Not a yacht. Not a luxury cruiser. A tiny homemade boat crossing some of the most remote oceans on Earth.

During the journey, Eric was thrown overboard at night while sailing alone. Tethered to the boat and being dragged through the water, he faced every sailor’s worst nightmare.

In this episode, Eric shares:

• Why he joined the first-ever Mini Globe Race

• What it feels like to be completely alone at sea

• The terrifying moment he fell overboard

• Lessons about fear, resilience and ageing

• Why adventure doesn’t stop when you get older

A powerful conversation about courage, simplicity, and proving that dreams don’t have an expiration date.
